7th of June

June 7^th:

We had our first class today. It was nerve wreaking. China’s school system is different than ours. We started teaching at 8am and then at 11:30am is lunch. For lunch we have until 1:30pm then we teach our last class until 3pm. In total we have 6 classes but really it is 3 long classes split up. It scared us the moment they said we had 6 classes! It was really tiring teaching those classes because we always repeated ourselves but we don’t really remembered what we said to each class hahaha. After a long day in school we came back home to shower, rest and change for the school performance of “I’m not Li Bai”. This performance was put on by a Beijing theater company and we got free tickets. It was a really good performance and I really liked the actors. They were really entertaining and acted really well, especially the guy who acted really gay! He pulled it off so well!
